Hi Guys, i removed all my wheels yesterday and cleaned my wheel arches and shocks so i could waxoil them, and i noticed the shocks were red, would these be after market shocks? The springs were black from what i could see.

The car is a 1999 WRX STi 5 Type R.

sounds possibly like KYB's but tbh theres a few that are red, def sounds like after market though

 

Could also be GAB's, jack up the front and check the dampers for adjustment dials. Had these on mine when it was 1st imported, i never knew they were adjustable until i replaced them

 

Where would the adjuster be?
I took a photo of front and back, ill get it up later...

 

If they are the same as what i had they are on the lower part of the strut, inboard.

 

I couldnt really see any kind of adjustment, but not really sure what to look out for TBH

So there more thn likley standard Shocks thn...?
