hi
ive got chance of buying afull set of springs and struts from an rb5 for my standard MY00 uk turbo just wondered if there was any difference between the two(is an rb5 fitted with an uprated one)

They are identical. The only reason an RB5 handles better is 17" wheels & a solid rear bulkhead.

cheers m8 thx ive just put the RB wheels on tonight but havent tried it up the road yet so i might keep them if theres a noticeable difference.

Even though they claim an RB5 has a sold bulkhead, a piece of black cardboard and a flimsy bar is hardly solid!!

I removed my cardboard and bar and fitted a thick piece of wood to mount my ICE on and a rear strutt brace. It's much more solid on the rear. I think a MY00 and a RB5 are identical in terms of handling. Don't think the wheels make any difference
