Okay, a technical compatibility question! I have an '03 saloon which still has the stock rear ARB fitted. I have fitted Hardrace rear control arms which have the droplink mounts on the top of the arm rather than below as the WRX OEM arms have, and which would seem to be aimed at the widetrack model despite being normal width. To make these work together I've fitted a non-stock set of standard style links where the mountings are on opposing sides, and that's fine. However, I am looking to fit a 20 STI ARB, or a Whiteline 22mm adjustable, and am therefore wondering whether a Widetrack bar would work? The WRX bar sits approx. 20mm inside the control arm tabs on each side. Does anyone know how much wider anSTI Widetrack bar is between the ends compared to the OEM WRX item?
