To my knowledge, you can't buy the KYB bearing size.

So if you buy new shocks, they don't come with the bearings? What a rip off!

They come as a sealed unit ie with the bearings inside 2pot whas showing you the bit what fails from a disassembled shock. So yes you get the bearings for free

That's great.
Going to wait hopefully black Friday might see some reduced prices on KYB shocks unless there are some cheaper alternatives which I'm not aware of

If non-widetrack 100pcd wrx saloon:

KYB ultra sr inverted 321002 321003 321004 321005 (need an sti rate spring)

KYB ultra sr non-inverted 324030 324031 324032 324033

KYB excel-g non-inverted 334460 334461 334358 334359

They'll all rub with the wheels and springs you've got.

Sorry to revive this thread but I got a a full set of KYB shocks and top mounts in the sale. (Big thanks to 2pot for helping me out)
Any tips on maintenance before fitting the new parts? Just checking that they don't need to be greased etc ?

They are the Excel G parts I believe. I bought them from Buycarparts who are part of AutoDoc but they had 26% off whereas everyone else had 25% off so bought from there as was a little cheaper.
Off top off my head, I believe the total for all 4 shocks/top mounts and dust covers came to around £420 inc vat.

have you actually received them yet as they don't deliver large items to the UK. They cancelled my coilovers order

Yes, the items were ordered on black Friday and delivered on Tuesday so pretty impressed with the delivery.
I wish I could fit them myself, will probably book car in at Richard Henry's to have this fitted. Hope its not too expensive

Shouldn't take a competent mechanic much more than 4 hours to complete.so depending on local rates £150-250

Yeah, someone else asked if they turned up. If I remember correctly I ordered on a Friday and they were delivered the following Monday.Booked in next week, still haven’t time to fit them as I had to do full cambelt last month.
