55 plate Forester suspension
Evening all, so I hear from other members that impreza suspension will be a fit on my forester. I need to change all mine as my coilovers are buggered. Not long had a new addition to the family and one pretty much naff wage supporting us, spondooley is rather tight. So my question is, could I fit fg forester shocks to a sg forester? Many thanks in advance
Shaun

If you take a look on RS25 or Nasioc they seem to be a lot more clued up on intra-subaru suspension swaps than most people on here who just go down the coilover route.

Ah brilliant, cheers for the replies guys. I've chucked stock back on but now I have a saggy bum that wobbles haha. I'm going to buy some springs as the shocks themselves "seem" fine with no sign of leaking. If that doesn't solve it, it'll be new shocks too. I was just gutted I had to go stock as it looked the dogs danglies sat so low. But new family member now so pennies are a little stretched at the moment where buying car parts are concerned for now

If you want to go lower then look out for a decent set of newage Impreza 100x5 shocks which will fit your SG Foz. You may still need to fit saggy butt spacers which you can get from a few sellers cheap in the US, but it's the cheapest way of lowering an SG. Don't be tempted to fit impreza springs into your SG shocks, this doesn't work and will destroy your shocks in no time at all.
