Peddlers suspension

Peddlers suspension
Has anybody used these , thinking of getting them for my 04 sti , don't really want coilovers as it's my daily drive and I've heard coilovers are a bit harsh on our pot holed roads for a daily , don't really want to mess about with kyb ultras because you have to mess about either buying springs , dust boots , bump stops and top mounts which then make it very expense or use your old bits which is too much for my limited car mechanic hands .
These are straight bolt off bolt on which in my eyes is a winner .

Seems to be a wide track fitment issue. Had 3 pm's from different folks with the same issues, knocking in the rear from the top mount.

What are your current ride heights, inc fuel level?
With the right springs, you could use inverted or non-inverted Ultra SR, on an '04sti (5 x 100pcd).

Not sure if it's really worth me contacting Pedders after the trouble Tidgy has had with his car. Sometimes I think something's about to fall off my car. Inspection of the suspension arms and droplinks didn't find anything loose or warn, testing with a shaker system at MoT station didn't find anything either, so my conclusion is the Pedders top mounts only last about 4/5 months on the widetrack car.
I could maybe get a set of replacement top mounts fitted, but that's more expense to pay for that to be done, and I'll be further out of pocket if the knocking noises come back again......
Shame cos the performance of the Ezifit suspension is otherwise excellent.

Not exactly the one you asked about, but I have a set of Extreme XA under my 07 STi and I love them.
They are the perfect compromise to me between ride comfort and performance and the roads are not the best here in Hungary.

I've known of several cars with the fast road Pedders fitted with no issues...One owner removed a set of BC coilovers and replaced them with these..(apparently the BC's are known to seize up particularly over winter).

What i can say going from pedders to teins is the teins are far better even for our roads. The Pedders were bouncy, pretty soft and noisy, the teins arn't overly hard, arn't bouncy and nice and quiet.

non widetrack seem to be ok, its only widetrack that have the top mount issue.
