Front Arms
Dear All, looking fro some advice....
I have Subaru Impreza WRX Wagon, 2005, a few months ago I had the suspension upgraded to a Stage 4 Performance upgrade, BC coil overs etc.
Four weeks ago both of the front arms cracked, they were heavily corroded and due to the added pressure of the suspension system, the need to be replaced.
Following an extensive search, I have ordered new std front arm replacements, from North America and they are being fitted next week.
However, can anyone advise me whether there are more robust front arms on the market, that I should be fitting, or if these should be ok?
Alun

you should contact your local Subaru dealer for advice on this as there is a recall on the front arms in place since 2012 I think. If your car missed the check or just the fact they have failed through corrosion might make it eligible for some help. If possible I wouldn't fork out money until you've spoken to someone at Subaru.

Thanks Trev.
That was my first port of call and they claimed that my model / year wasn't on recall, Scooby World who did the Suspension upgrade advised me to check with Subaru.
Thanks for coming back to me so quickly.
