Default Standard vs widetrack suspension

Hi

Is there a particular reason why widetrack struts won't fit on a standard non widetrack car?

Eg blob widetrack > bugeye

Thanks

For sure front struts won't match with knuckles (diffrent bolts spacing). Rears should be compatible between widetrack blob and the non-widetrack blob, but there is a difference between bug and blob there. Bug has older design of topmounts and blob has the newer one.

Would bug top mounts fit the blob struts?
