Default Where to find / buy WRX front spring cups and rubbers?

Hi all,

I'd like to pre-build my dampers off the car and believe for the fronts I will need the spring cup and rubber cushion, which I guess you would normally pinch from the old ones.

I've been trying to find these but for love nor money I can get them, either used on eBay (emailing breakers) or new from the likes of ICP

Can you actually buy these?

Cheers

As you've previously posted about bug wrx dampers.............

To effectively build your front struts up as replacement "take offs" you will need most of the parts on the right hand side of this diagram. (assuming you have the springs)

All the part numbers are listed on the page below

Similarly for the rears

There's no rubber isolator on the front base coil

Ah yes, it is for a Bugeye...good digging. Although i've brought Blobeye shocks and springs .

It looks a little more to order than I thought...

I have the springs, front and rear top mounts and front and rear bump stops / boots.

I'm thinking it may be easier to just build them with the old ones next to make sure they're right!

Thanks Don for those links - very useful.

Yes.

Blob/hawk rear top mounts have an integral top rubber isolator.
You'll only need the 20375FC001 rubber base isolators.

You would also need 2 front cone washers - 20326AA000

Sorry to be a pain but i've called Subaru and the prices for those parts are astonishing, the washers/spacers came in at £21+VAT each....

So I will be building them on the day of removal, the only thing I'm concerned about is I will be taking Bug shocks off and replacing with a Blobeye setup including top mounts.

So i won't have any reference to rebuild to, are they the same or will i still need to buy bits like the spacers, spring cups for a blobeye?

The rear lower rubber spring isolator is the same bug/blob and hawk. So, just swap it over - unless you're buying new - 20375FC001

The front upper spring perch and rubber upper spring isolators are the same.
The front cone washer/spacer is the same. Make sure you fit it cone side up
