Default 2005 Widetrack Suspension Options

Hi first post! Sorry if this has been covered 100 times before but through all my searching a lot of information I found was out of date.

I'm basically looking for the best suspension options on a 2005 STI Widetrack.

Car is over 90k millage and the suspension creaks when cold and the rear shocks knock plus the front top mounts have started to crack. White grease cures it for a while until they shocks get hot after 50+ miles of country lane driving.

Basically i know that BC coil-overs are good if you have 1k to spend but unfortunately this isn't an option. So what other options are there?

Is stripping them down and re-grease with nipples, new mounts and even new springs going to last? Or should I look to replace the struts as the car is 'high millage' I have no idea how long they have been on the car.

If replacing the struts whats the best to go for? OEM is expensive and the KYB alternative confuse the **** out of me as to what fits and what might fit, if any!

Looking for something less than 500.

Any help/guidance is much appreciated.

I wouldn't buy any coilovers under £500 unless your buying them second hand and from someone on here. Scoobynet Breakers normally have coilovers/springs for sale.

Meister r come highly recommended I couldn't of been happier with my last set and will be using them again when I replace my current suspension I found them a lot more compliant than Bc's .

Do you have a link? I'm not part of any of the FB groups. Hardly use it anymore.
