I have the following built forged short engine
EJ257 Short block from 08 sti
Wiseco Pistons
K1 H-Beam Rods
2008 STI Crank
RCM Oil Pump
ARP Head Studs

Originally built by enginetuner in 2009 and run at 450bhp-500bhp for over 25,000 miles.
It is a built block and could be easily fitted and run as it never failed. I replaced it for a 2.35 stroker.
I am selling it as a going concern, and giving the advice that it should be split and examined as it did have a hard life and was beginning to use some oil.
I am looking for £600ono for the lot and is ready to collect now or be rebuilt at enginetuner. I don't have any pictures, but can ask Alan to take some if you want to see anything specifically.

how much oil was it using? Any smoke?

No smoke, I was convinced I had a small oil leak, after lots of investigating, never found one, so must of been the engine. Around 700-800ml every 1000 miles

Whats the actual cause. Piston rings? Or pistons?

Inspected
