Impreza FULL Ipad Dashboard Kit ,Dr400G HD-V2 car Camera , Rear speaker adapters
The following items are for sale . This is due to getting my 55 plate Sti ready for sale .
** Used But in Good Condition **
Complete , Subaru Impreza 2004/2005 Onwards Ipad install Kit .
Made to fit the Ipad 1+2 ( but will also fit the ipad 3 with a new dock ) . This kit i have been using for the best part of a year and is the best car stereo system i have ever had .
What is included
Ipad front Bezel
Ipad 2 dock
Top Din mount ( replaces the clock )
JVC stereo with Rear Aux Input
Custom Made hazard button ( can be put in the blank spot next to the water spray button )
Ipad cable for audio and charging
4 port Cigarette adapter with compatible ipad usb charger ( mounts inside the dash nice and hidden)
Price is £250 for everything
Heres also a video of me showing it working prior to removal , please forgive the shoddy iphone 5 camera.

ok heres how it works
The white cable charges the ipad while docked and the audio out from the white cable plugs in to the rear AUX port on the stereo .
Not many stereos have rear AUX ports any more , hence me choosing that one
JVC KD-R431 USB/CD Receiver with Dual Aux is the model
As you can see from the video it works PERFECT and i used it upto the day i removed it , when i shot the video.
So to summarize , when you get into your car you slot ipad into dock and put stereo faceplate on stereo and everything then works . The ipad charges , audio is going through the rear aux port and the sun is shining

Sorry for the brief explanation , but it really is straight forward ... i had it all fitted in under a hour .
With regards to powering the ipad , i had the multi port cigarette adapter behind the dashboard which used the power cables from the original cigarette lighter , but there is other ways of doing it .. But this seemed the most simplest and most stealthy way of giving it power. Inside the multi port cigarette adapter is a ipad USB charger.
So basically the USB plugs in charger >>> goes to dock >> and then a cable from the dock goes to the stereo.
It basically just tucks in behind the dash with all the other cables , job done
