Default S202 style adjustable carbon spoiler ***price drop ***

as described for sale is an S202 style adjustable spoiler. Did have a chip at back of wing but this was filled by Hardy-P1 prior to me buying it from him in June. Car has done 300miles since. The brackets have been refurbed in VHF wrinkle black. Picture can be seen by looking at H4rdy-p1 thread titled #list of top spec parts#
£140 or will swap for bug eye carbon bootlid or 4 hub centric spacers.

At buyers expense I will post anything anywhere. Plaes bear in mind that with the amount of bubble wrap I used last time you should book a couple of days off work to get into it.

Am i right in thinking this wont bolt into existing holes in the boot, Looking at the pic it looks like the brackets are too close together to use the OEM boot holes?

Default Holes

i am pretty sure they didn't go straight in the oem holes but I do believe that all the holes were covered by framework. Sti spoiler came off mine. S202 went on and there are no visible holes any where.

The big man has spoken. Won't go in original holes but didn't cause me ant trouble. Less trouble still if you're rich like fud and have spare spec c boots.

Ps Fud. It has took every ounce of my will power not break this project entirely and buy your bird's STI. I love it. My wife loves it. Someone is getting a steal.

That was what I was thinking Fud, Yours wont as its mahoosive, The Kakuemi copy's and the Sti/S202 OEM part fits into the 4 holes on a WRX lid the same as mine and yours Fud, Just looked a bit different in the pic so thought I'd ask the question, Anyone got an original(Sti branded) one for sale?

It is the exact one showed in the pic above. The car is in for engine work at the moment so pic on car is difficult. It is on my mates website though as the advertising car. Www.mossautocare.co.uk.
Postage to jersey was around 15 so Wales can't be more than that. Cheers

Get to the back of the que

Seriously though your looking around £400-500 for an OEM one second hand if you can find one and if you can find 2 let me know!!!
Sti made 2 different ones, The one for the S202(has sti branded brackets) to fit to the boot and different feet on it and an optional OEM part which is identical to the Kakumei one with the same mountings and feet as seen in the photo, Be careful of people telling you its an OEM one when it isn`t, All the OEM parts have `Sti` underneath the laquer in the centre of the blade in pink....Like this, both of the wings share the same blades its just the mounts that are different.

S202 spoiler(part number 1005G-017-011)

Sti optional part(part number 1005G-017-010)

Both wings should have this on the underneath

Or you could get the replica for £300(inc Del)+ taxes from Kakumei

Gaz, (the other threads on the net are wrong) no genuine sti carbon spoiler has the large single oval shaped foot as per your second photo (these are all copies)

The genuine sti spoilers have four seperate feet in total (as per your first photo) and made with genuine CF
All genuine sti ones will look exactly like these two:

Sti will be embosed in the legs however not all the blades have sti embosed in pink in the carbon (only the very early ones had this)
This same design of spoiler was used on both the s202 and the 2005 spec c ra by sti japan.
(anything else that doesn't look like the above two pics is a copy)

Nothing wrong with copies but i just thought id clarify/assist

Hope that helps

Blood hell somebody has pinched my old car.

They are without a doubt the best spoiler for a newage STi, if I could find one at a reasonable price then I'd have another.
