Default DEFI BF Gauges setup (4 gauges, with holder / wires)

Here we have a DEFI Gauges setup.
there is the following gauges included :

- Oil Temp
- Oil Pressure
- Boost pressure (2,0 BARS)
- Water temp

Condition of the gauges is Immaculate.
no scratches or anything.

there is also the gauge holder / wires to connect them together.

they are DEFI BF Gauges in Amber Red (Not advance BF as mentionned before)
all in good working order.

Amber Red Black Face, GENUINE Defi products, like new and with genuine holders / wires

so i can sell it that way :

Gauges with holder, wires : offers over 400gbp please
Gauges with sensors, wires, holders : offers over 500gbp please.

the sensors are still fitted to the car and i have got someone interested for it so the gauges can be sold with or without sensors

I would be interested in the oil pressure if you decide to split with sender and wires and holder

Pm me if you change your mind to split and how much you would be looking for.

Just for your info these are not compatible with the Defi link controller 1 & 2, You need the Advance controller, Not trying to put anyone off the sale just letting you know incase of any aftersale issues

edited : They are not Advance BF but just BF Gauges. so they are fully compatible with controller 1 / 2

and not trying to help the sale but a single gauge still worth over 200gbp RRP.

so i think that something over 500 quids is still a pretty good price for the whole setup regarding the prices over there.

As stated already these may be a bit steep. I paid £450 for x 4 White Face 60mm DEFI's with a Controller, wires, sensors and a GReddy pipe adaptor for the coolant.

I`m not so sure, The Amber ones do seem to fetch a premium over the white or blue ones as they match the JDM sweeping cluster perfectly, I`d say if there is a controller included they are worth £550 all day long for a complete 4 gauge set personal but it`s obviously each to their own and all that

I have opened the following PayPal dispute over these gauges. I must stress that d2racing has been a very nice guy to deal with but I was concerned that I would run out of time to open this dispute if things went bad.

I paid for 4 Defi gauges, pods and sensors on the 21st of November. I received the gauges & pods on 13th December. As of today, I still haven't received the sensors.

3 of the 4 gauges do not work (boost, oil pressure, oil temp). They are completely dead when plugged into my Defi control unit. The water temp gauge appears to be ok.

I would like to return these gauges, pods & sensors (if/when they arrive) for a refund. I will cover return postage to Switzerland."

You cant really argue with that video though, Clearly there is an issue with some of the gauges.

Just a quick update.

It doesn't solve the problem of the gauges not working but at least if I receive the sensors I can return the entire package for a refund.

Any communication from the seller would be useful at this point.

He also stated that he'd opened a dispute with the Swiss postal service about the non-working gauges. In addition, he hinted that he would refund the purchase price if I returned the gauges. No return address was supplied though. He also said he might have some other gauges.

I replied to this message asking for clarification on the 'other gauges' and whether he still intended to send the sensors but as of now have yet to receive a reply.
I am now escalating this dispute to a claim

Edit: Escalated to claim with the following text:

To save returning the dead gauges and pods and incurring even more costs, I'd accept a partial refund of £450 as one of the gauges works. I'd then sell the working gauge on (as it was the gauge I didn't want anyway). I'm also willing to return the gauges and pods for a full refund if the seller prefers.

In fairness to d2racing, he has been friendly throughout. Despite the way things have turned out, he's actually a nice guy.

Edit: Well, PayPal found in my favour and issued a partial refund. d2racing never once replied to PayPal's enquiries so they had no choice I think.

Shame this had to go this way.
