Hi, just out of curiosity, can you get this setup to fit classics? I've heard of the 6 speed setup in the scoobys and wondered if they can from later model sti's. If yes, what things would need modifying etc to make it fit correctly? cheers

Just recently done a 6 speed conversion in mine, very easy conversion as long as you have all the correct parts which that kit includes.

Thanks very much for the answer jay. Just to add its from a UK car which didn't have the rear differential control (non DCCD)

How strong is it? What sort of power could it take without damage?

I honestly couldn't say a limit of how strong it is because I don't know, but hopefully someone else can jump in and help. Cheers

The 6 speed can handle a fair bit of power. Much more compared with the 5 speed. Itll handle over 500hp easily.

It's a great conversion for classics and a good price with everything included

Duncan race dynamix is running 700-750bhp i think maybe more on a std 6sp so power wise=loads,
I'm running one in my classic 2.35 wagon at about 6 at the mo no probs

The transmission out of an UK or JAP vehicle. I am interested in the complete converion for my 1998 Classic. Please provide me with the transmission code of your car.

The parts have to be shipped to South Africa.
