Default 2.55 bar map sensor

Edit : turns out this is actually from a wrx hawk and not what I was led to believe. I’m informed it’ll still be good for 1.7 bar

I purchased this from Matty B but never got round to fitting it.

It was from a spec c or 03-06 jdm if I remember correctly.

price is £25 posted

i think std will see 1.55 without any issues and the one above I’m presuming anything over and above, I’d presume it’ll handle 2 bar but your limiting factor will be the ecu, std ecu will handle 1.7 bar I believe.

The reason I never fitted the above was my build never warranted more than 1.3 bar

Pretty sure the JDM spec c MAP sensor allowed you to run higher boost than the stock uk sensor,

are they not 3bar sensors ?

the stock map sensor allows for 1.55, the jdm spec 3 bar allows for 2 bar and the 2.55 bar allows for 1.7 bar

This was sold to me as a jdm 3 bar sensor but I’ve since found out it’s a 2.55 bar map sensor from a hawk wrx

I had edited the top post to show this.

Rule of thumb is subtract 1 bar ( 1 atmpshere) from the sensor capacity and that's its limit so in this case if its a 2.55 bar sensor its limit would be around the 1.55 bar mark.
