For the age this is a very nice example only thinking about selling as wife has finished maternity leave and her work won't accommodate new hours so a bit tight with finances

Thanks guys really appreciate that. The only problem I have is if I do up the power your looking at 6 speed and bigger brakes to stop it. Although the 5 speed does give good fuel economy if that can be said with a scoob! I've been getting 34mpg on my daily 24 miles. I suppose my 5 speed would be worth a little as its a fresh recon?

Decided to keep the car now as not much interest and at the price with a forged engine its not worth selling. Next step deciding what to add next

Up the power see what the recon box can take (I'd say 350 then after that it's just luck) then replace with a 6 speed, oh and get some brembos with ace pads in the meantime. Nice engine

I really like the 5 speed but bigger brakes are a must, I was thinking around the 350 mark wouldn't want or need much more to be honest was contemplating a hawk front end too.

If you get the brembos, you'll need to change the wrx wheels for sti wheels to clear, forget the looks, spend it on handling and power and brakes IMO 1st

Thanks mate, I saw a quote on here earlier which sums it up perfectly I love buying cars hate selling them! I don't want to sell it but needs must which is a real shame.

How much would the engine gearbox and brembos sell for on there own? Would be interested in a deal on the remainder of the car.
