Default 2005 (54) Impreza Blobeye STI Type-UK - 334bhp - £7800

It's time to sell. I only use it driving to and from work on busy city roads so I cannot justify keeping it. I've owned it since the 7th August 2010 and have since spent a fair amount getting the car to how I wanted it, running 334bhp with 325FtLB torque. I'll be sorry to see it go but I need something that's cheaper to run for my usage.

Subaru Impreza STI Type-UK Blobeye MY05 54plate (remapped to 334bhp/325lb torque), registered 4th January 2005 so the wider chassis version. It has the benefits of the newer Hawkeye interior, suspension setup, DCCD-A and wider chassis with the stronger 2.0 Turbo engine.

Main differences between 2005 and earlier models:

- Wider Chassis,
- Bigger Hubs with 5x114.3 Alloys
- DCCD-A (Driver Controller Centre Differential - Automatic) Controls how much Torque is sent to each Axle.
- Different Suspension/Geometry Set-Up
- Rear Arch Spats
- Quick Rack Steering
- Revised Interior Styling from Hawkeye
- Intercooler Spray and 2nd Waterbottle in Boot.

As well as the standard specifications I have had some things changed:

- Full Turbo back Free Flowing Afterburner Vortex
- Uprated Fuel Pump
- K&N Apollo Cold Air Intake
- EcuTek Remap by Scoobyworld to 334.1bhp & 325FtLB torque
- Powdercoated alloys in Anthracite - still as new, no scratches or scrapes
- Detango'd headlights & replaced orange bulbs
- Debadged as seen in pictures
- Sony stereo system

I have receipts for all the modifications.

It currently has 69,000 miles on the clock, 50,000 done in the first 3 years when it was a company car. Privately owned since April 2008, 2 previous owners before me.

Receipts for all service history:

May 05 @ 5,174
Dec 05 @ 15,684
May 06 @ 23,763
Feb 07 @ 35,590
Nov 07 @ 45,901
Mar 08 @ 50,424
Aug 10 @ 62,311 Plus Tyres & Ferodo DS2500 pads
Oct 10 @ 64,214 FULL Cambelt Kit Replaced by Howard @ HDC Subaru

MOT expires 6th April 2011 - If someone leaves a deposit I can get a full MOT before collection

Tax expires end of March 2011 - pre 2006 tax band so £245 for year

I always warm up and cool down the car. It has also only ran on Shell 99RON, remapped to this fuel.

The paintwork is in great condition and the interior is unmarked and the alloys are perfect. It's a great example, you wouldn't think it was a 6 year old car.

I have the HPI print out from when I bought the car but feel free to do one yourself. They cost next to nothing to do and definitely worth every penny.

Thanks for taking the time to look. Feel free to ask any questions or contact me for a viewing. Please no tyre kickers or test pilots. Test drives only available if you can provided proof of fully comp insurance on my car and proof of funds.

Last chance £7800

I've found a new car and accepted a part exchange price. Collect the car Monday afternoon and am exchanging then.

If someone can come up with the part exchange value before Monday afternoon then they can have the car and I'll pay for the new car with cash.

Would need £7800 cash or bank transfer Monday morning at the latest. Your bank would need to be one of the Santander banks if you wanted to do an instant transfer to my account otherwise I'd need cash so I can pay for my new car Monday afternoon.

Would rather someone from here bought it than a trader who will put a £9k price tag on it.

Yes it's an amazing car but I cannot afford to have £8000 sat on the drive doing nothing and £8000 in a diesel for driving to and from work.

I've now got a BMW 320D M-Sport for the daily commute. In a few months when the fuel prices rise and Imprezas drop in price even more I'll be looking to buy a classic for around £2000-£2500 to use as a hobby/track car.

£7,800 for a dealer trade in was fair money. But suprised no private buyers came forward and fair play to you for giving people the oppertunity. Wished everyone done this before they traded in.
