Gus, not on here that often & just picked up on this thread. Very sorry you are selling the car & the very best of good fortune. Hopefully you will find a buyer who will fully appreciate her & your 'sympathetic tweaking' mods.

I would cry if I had to sell mine, even after 2 years Nothing out there has yet caught my eye that provides either the raw driveability or scarcity! Good luck mate.

Cheers blindside
Rickya if the truth be known I just have these childhood pangs to pull a car apart and build something and it would have to be a classic impreza to do this to, no other car and I have driven loads and owned loads has given me as much a buzz as an impreza.
Tony yes thats greedy you lucky sod.

Gussy is in Cumbria and this is a very well known car

If I didn't have to wait until I am 62 years old to pay off my mortgage I'd have this car on my drive

TBH never seen a UK hawkeye Spec C Type RA in white

You missed mine by a few months & I doubt if another will come up for a long time as there are only 2 in the country inc my old one, plus a few Spec C RA's in white.

What category is it listed under? I just did a "Spec C" filter on the Impreza STI category and I didn't see it. There's a blue one on there for £20.5K.

Has the car listed as 'the only blue Spec C Type RA in the UK'. Seller needs to get his facts right.

I don't think Gussy's facts were in question.

It's the other chap claiming to have the only blue spec c RA in the UK.

Stugsey prices are always negotiable and a true enthusiast will know what they are worth and I for one would haggle if I was in the market to buy.Dont forget that this model is few and far between this car is the only one in the uk in silver so should demand a higher price.I will agree with you about general prices they have fallen for standardish uk/euro sti"s but I for one will not be giving the car away it"s a complete package with all the bells and whistles attached need I say more
