1998 V5 JDM Subaru Impreza WRX STI Type R Fully Forged 519 BHP & 506 ft/lbs
Here I have for sale my pride & joy. Currently has just a shade over 82,000 miles on the clock but the first 52,448 of those are in Kilometres before it was converted to read in miles, so the car has about 63,000 miles in total. Fully forged engine built on 4th June 2016 at 76,423 miles so just under 6,000 miles on the new engine. MOT has just been done and expires on 29th March 2018.
Car has been regularly upgraded and modified and serviced over the last 3 years and I have every single receipt and invoice to prove this. It has always been mapped by Bob Rawle and all mechanical work carried out by Andy Kindon at A S Motors, Chester Le Street, Co. Durham. He would be more than happy to speak to anyone about the car if they wished.
I have always had the oil & filter changed every 2-3,000 miles at most with Millers Nanondrive 10w60NT and the transmission & diff oils were renewed with Millers 75W90NT on 2nd March 2017.
The car is located in Ponteland, Newcastle upon Tyne just 5 minutes from Newcastle International Airport.
The car well known in the North East Subaru community so it's provenance can be confirmed on several Facebook groups, as well as a project thread on the Scottish Scoobies forum.

I know that the C-West bodykit will not appeal to the Subaru purists, so I would please ask that if you are not interested in buying the car or it is not to your taste that you please keep your comments to yourself and move on as I do not want this advert to be ruined by such comments. In any case the car body could be returned to standard with a V5 bumpers & side skirts.
The car had the front bumper, bonnet resprayed in August 2016 to sort out some front end stone chips. Otherwise the rest of the paintwork is original and in excellent condition. There are the odd, very minor and mostly unoticeable age related mark here and there.
I had a full decontamination detail last week including clay bar, machine polish and 2 applications of Swissvax wax.
The only bad bit I can honestly point out is that the 5th spare Revolution Millenium alloy was scuffed by me when it was on the car so I swapped it with a brand new alloy, hence the car has 5 alloys. The driver's seat bolster is slightly worn.
The car has only ever been a weekend toy for me for local club run outs and has been on York Dragstrip one time only in full road trim when it was running lower power of 474bhp and it was my first time ever on a track. The car ran 11.8 secs with my amateur self behind the wheel. Other than that the car has an easy life as to be fair I drive it sympathetically and don't rag it all over the place. I am just too old and boring for that these days.
The car is LOUD and I do mean LOUD. I recently lined the boot floor with some DodoMat sound deadening neoprene, but it has made no difference. But to be fair I love the noise.

Oh, Mario Mario Mario. If this was only a few months ago. I think I actually asked you if you'd sell it to me, but you said it was a keeper, so I bought another car.

Purchased by a local gentleman up in the North East who also has a large collection of cars, which I was fortunate to have been given a tour of when I drove the car over to him...all pristine Ford RS Mexico Mk1s, RS2000s, Lancia Delta Integrale Evo, original Rover Metro 6R4.....an absolute wet dream of a collection for us that grew up in the era of those type of cars...he has plenty of modern ones too as well as a boat load of Subarus..now including mine....and he did say if he ever puts it up for sale he would let me have first refusal.
