Track car, widetrack - unfinished project
Impreza widetrack track car - unfinished project
Sadly due to a massive change of circumstances i am having to offer this up for sale.
I’d rather sell as a whole going concern but will see what interest i get. If no one takes as is, i guess i’ll have to offer it for breaking which will be a massive shame.
Spec as follows:
2005 Fully caged widetrack shell with high lift sill stands built to exceed blue blue specs by Nickson motorsport. Freshly sprayed inside & out with arch extensions. Boot floor removed and replaced with alloy panel along with firewall.
Full front end conversion to hawk eye using genuine parts, alloy bonnet, aero catches.
Unmarked 17” Alloys but need new tyres
All subframes, suspension arms, mounts etc powder coated.
Tein coilovers as new which have covered around 1k miles max.
Genuine group n engine mounts.
All bushes are black race series throughout.
2.0 wrx engine & 5 speed box, killer b sump baffle, kevlar timing belt, new tensioners, new water pump, cdf top belt guide, lightened flywheel, uprated clutch, sti injectors, sti top mount, aftermarket manifold, de cat pipe all heat wrapped, vf48 turbo, Green panel filter, made around 346bhp when last mapped by Bob Rawle when this engine was in my last car, should be slightly more now it’s fully de-catted.
External genuine bosch fuel pump, external filter, swirl pot & braided lines & an fittings throughout.
Freshly re furbed orange brembos with brand new discs front & rear, Hel braided flexi lines.
Standard wrx front seats fitted
Modified rear bumper to take a custom diffuser.
Brand new front wheel bearings fitted.
Needs the following to complete:
Copper brake lines running from master cylinder to wheels
Fuel lines connecting to engine or aftermarket rails fitting
Heater box & fan fitting, Dash fitting, wiring
Custom rear shafts as running wrx diff, widetrack rear hubs or just replace for sti running gear.
Turbo back exhaust system
This will be an amazing track car when completed & i’d rather sell it to an enthusiast on here & see it get finished and make all the effort so far worth it.

I’m after as close to £8.5k as possible as receipts for everything here easily double this.
Would be ideal for someone to fit all the running gear from an sti straight in to this.
As stated already, i don't want to be selling up but i now have nowhere to keep this. I have lots of spares that are included with this too.
