Default 2008 WRX STi Hatch

Hi all,

Its time to move on to something different after 2.5 years of ownership and so my hatch is up for sale. She has been a pleasure to own, washed weekly and wanted for nothing. First some pictures, then a list of modifications.

Engine / under the bonnet:-
Remap by Duncan (AKA Race Dynamix) to 340 / 340
AEM induction kit
ProDrive second cat delete
Infinity Exhausts custom backbox
Perrin black slam panel
Mishimoto black radiator supports
RallyTech anodised blue engine dress kit
Blue STi intercooler guard

Exterior:-
Personal number plate R88 WRX
Team Dynamics Pro-Race wheels refurbished in dark anthracite (Same as the CS400 I believe) with Muteki SR35 black wheel nuts
HT Autos full lowline kit
Perrin wing riser kit
RallyArmour mudflaps with blue logo
Mirror-Magic upgrade fitted so mirrors close automatically with engine on/off.
Zunsport centre and lower grills
Rear lights covered in dual tone vinyl
Rear exhaust surrounds painted black
Front headlamp eyebrows painted black
Front fog surrounds painted black
Rear parking camera installed

Interior:-
Stereo upgraded to a Pioneer DA-120 head unit with Apple Carplay and the ability to view rear parking camera signal.
Dash cam hard-wired into the back of the cigarette lighter
M-Tech racing STi gear ****.

The car is currently on around 75k miles though this will slightly rise as it is my daily runner. I had a full service history up until I took ownership and then I have personally serviced it over the last 2.5 years changing the oil and filter roughly every 5000 miles. I have just had 4 new performance tyres and the wheels re-aligned alongside an MOT, meaning that it has 11 months remaining.

The bodywork is in generally good shape though there are a few minor, age related marks as it is a 9 year old car.

I am in no rush to sell and only selling as I generally change cars every 2-3 years and it is "that time." There is a small amount of outstanding finance on the car, this can be cleared by myself and receipt given to new owner or cleared by yourself when paying for the car.

If you have any questions feel free to ask. I can be contacted via PM on here, though more quickly through 07793 491214.

I am happy for any views or inspections to take place, though any test drives will be carried out by me unless proof of comprehensive insurance on my car is presented.

Price is £10,500 ono.

Hi Matty, do you think? Maybe I have underpriced her a little, let's see. No she's not forged, never had the need.

When I was looking when I bought mine, they are coming in at £13/14k. I'd say maybe £12/13k. Thing is people tend to look for forged ones these days, but if I had the money know I'd buy yours because it's very clean

I bought it for around £13k and have invested a fair bit into it. Never saw the point of forging unless you were repairing the engine, runs fine as it is at the moment.

Thanks guys, not overly fussed if it doesn't sell as despite a number of test drives this week (140i, 430i, Golf R and Civic R GT) not found anything overly exciting. I'll mull it over the weekend and see how I feel then.

Lots of chancers offering sub £10k though.

For a modern car that is. Modern cars are bland and boring these days mate.

Quick and very comfortable, handles well though was a bit "bland."

The auto box on the 140i was a let down and very jerky when you put your foot down, though you do have manual mode.

Best car IMO was the civic and it looks quirky enough to have me tempted.

Thanks again, I'm in no rush to sell. Lots of chancers offering stupid amounts, best so far was £5000 from someone who "wants to help out a fella bruva!"

Think I have settled on a Forester STi and there is one in particular that lands in May. Might end up with both if I don't get the right offer and end up turning it in to a track toy.

Hi, I am the fifth owner, the MOT is until the end of November and the tyres are in decent condition needing replacement within the next 6 months.

Regards,

Not sure why that would be, however, it is booked in for a fresh one tomorrow afternoon as a lot of people prefer a full 12 months.

Car now has a full 12 months MOT on it and had 2 advisories - tyres (Still a few thousand miles left but you know Halfords) and front drop links. It is booked in to get both of these sorted next week.

Here are some shiny new pictures:-

And here are the map graphs:-
