Same fitment of light, but the lens is different, aint they reversed i.e red on bottom and frosted on top of the blob and red on top and clear on the bottom of the hawk?

I'm sure the hawk lights are more of a clear rear lens so to speak

Im not sure i have never tried it before but I would imagine that when you change the lights you would use the cluster pack that comes with the light or wiring harness from what car you want to use the lights from, they probably use the same connection plugs but the circuitry on the light cluster would go to the correct bulb, but I could be wrong, they may not even need altering but I get what your asking, try googling it see what it throws back.
