Made your own mesh grille....?
I want to fill the lower gap in my bumper with a mesh grille, the ZunSport ones are £90ish. Just wondering if anyone had made there own using mesh brought from somewhere like ebay? It seems to sell for around £10-15 on there. I reckon all I'll need to do is create a cardboard template, cut the mesh to the template, possibly edge it with some rubber beading and then find a way of securing it.

I've got the ZunSport lower grille fitted to my Blob.
Its really easy to fit and is well secured.
Been on 3 years and still looks as good as new.
For £90 its a bargain.
I'm sure it has been done and pics posted on here some years ago.

Meshed both top and bottom, as above, cut with the wife's kitchen scissors .
Both were held in place with enamelled copper wire, bent to a long U, threaded through one of the mesh ribs, round a stay behind and twisted behind. Invisible once on, easy to remove when necessary.
My lower grill was black with the Subaru stars sprayed on through a homemeade template, in white. It was about 10" across and quite effective.
Both now gone: lower area has FMIC and upper has gone back to standard, even to a black badge
