Hello everyone, I just got an Outback over here in the US. Why am I posting here? Well European vehicles have the rear brake fog light, I think your Subarus have this. Here that area is only a reflector. I am curious if it is a light assembly and if it is would it fit into the US bumper? I know measurements are needed but if it does then I plan to order. I activated these on my wife's VW Golf, just a jumper, extra bulb and remove a plastic 'coin'. They work and look great.
Thanks, Jerry

But if they aren't a legal rquirement, what do you want one for?

Are they even legal to use? I know they are a total PITA in the UK except in THICK fog..........

Default good point

Alcazar, good point. The best answer I can give is that I look for any safety advantage I can find. They are not required although some MB's and Lexus have them activated on delivery. I guess that is why I have used Cibie, Marchall and Lucas lights on my cars since 1965. My pickup has H4's in the headlights and Bosch fogs. Thanks for the reply, I appreciate it. Jerry
