ive done this utilising one of my chargespeed carbon front ducts 
.
didnt take to long and i ended up taking out the f-ing huge in-wing resonator at the same time.
you cant see any of the work in this photo but you can see the carbon duct i mentioned, not a great pic but you get the idea.

but tbh i don't think it will look as good just using my surrounds 
i've seen it done before and i'm not keen
