How to remove the black panels behind the rear windows- Classic
Hi guys, does anyone have any idea how to remove these on a classic? Mine are looking all speckled and faded as the paint is wearing off. I'll need to remove my wind deflectors first but not sure how the black rear panels come off. Don't want to paint them on the car in case of overspray, would rather remove them and do a tidy job first as last. Cheers

Big thanks ABW, did the job this afternoon. Found an easier way than taking off the deflectors and the whole trim. The part that needed repainting is rivetted on to the long trim panel so we simply drilled the rivets out, slid the black panel off and painted them on a bench. Re attatching them wasn't a problem as there are 4 screws that hold them to the long trim panel/car anyways. Not sure why they were rivetted in the first place. Still very pleased with the results and far easier to do than i dreaded.
