Default Respray cost

Does anyone know how much I could expect to pay for a top notch full respray (same colour)

Also if anybody has any recommendations for an excellent bodyshop in the South East it would be much appreciated.

Thank you for the replies

Spec'c'57 , what was the result like?

I don't mind paying top notch price for a top notch job but would obviously rather get a top notch job for good price. (Hope that makes sense? )

I know the saying goes, you get what you pay for but I'm sure there must be exceptions.

Finish was excellent. will try to get/find a pic of his car.

He also painted the front end of my Tuscan a few years ago, repaired some fibreglass and paint the whole front end with £80 of paint for £400.

Mines in the bodyshop at the moment, Im having a re-paint in the same colour bar the inside of the doors, engine bay & bonnet.

Its a full strip down and re-paint, bumpers / side skirts / windows / door handles and all door trims are all being taken off and worked on then sprayed and refitted etc.

The Bodyshop doing the work are called
Fine Finish
54 Valley Road
Plymouth
PL7 1RF
(01752 331123)

I know they are not in the south east (more south west) but im paying £1000 plus vat, which I think for the work involved is very reasonable.

Mine will be finished in a couple of weeks so ill be able to comment on the quality of finish the, but from all the previous work ive seen they are top notch!

I think I visited almost everybody shop in Plymouth! Prices varied massively from £600 (keep every thing on the car and just rub down and spray) up to £3500 for a full strip down etc.

I think ive got a good deal as they were having a quite spell!!

It would be great to see the car when it is done, maybe you could post some pictures of the finished result.

There is no doubt about it that is a very good price for what you are getting.

I think Plymouth may be abit far to go but I may be tempted, I actually brought the car from someone in Plymouth.
