Default Orciari rear spoiler

I bought what I belive to be is an Orcuiari spoiler from Graham Goode via ebay last week. I have now got the spoiler through and whilst I was trial fitting it together off of the car I noticed that the top plane was an inch too long. Now is there a knack to this as I never got any instructions on how it goes together though it does seem pretty self explainitry which is why I am baffeled.
I have emailed Graham Goode about this and am awaiting a reply from them, but any help from you guys would be great.

Make sure it's the right one for your car. New age and classic spoilers look very simalar but the boot lid shape is different so they don't fit!!
Had this problem a few years ago from DRM. All sorted in the end

Thanks for that mate it was infact me being a plank. I trial fitted it together on a flat surface so it looked like it wouldn't fit together but when I tried it on the car it did perfectly. Don't suppose you have the semplate laying around for the lower section holes?
