I had a P1 spoiler fitted to my car about a month ago and have never been 100% happy with its condition. It was from a written off P1 and took a few knocks in the crash.

I've been waiting for a mint top half to come along so I can swap them over. However when the boy fitted it, I think he's used some sort of bond around the bolt holes to stop it leaking.

How do I get to the bolts to split the spoiler and is it possible to do it whilst still on the car - I don't want to damage my boot getting it off.

In a bit of a hurry because I've agreed to purchase a P1 top half from a fellow SNetter.

When you pop the boot and hold it up, there should be an oblong blank on each side of the spoiler overhanging the boot.

Once you remove those you can see the bolts.
