Default New look front end

I have a 97 uk impreza and have seen newer classic imprezas with what seems to be a chunkier front end. These cars have headlights with much clearer lenses and a different grille. Can anyone tell me if these parts would fit straight onto my car and is the front bumper the same as mine or different
Cheers

Front bumper is different - it has two 'slats' by the indicators, not three - take a look at some pics and you'll see.

However, the headlamps are a direct swap - I've done it on my 98......
I've also replaced the sidelights for clear ones from TSL now

That photo is a gud 'un mate. The scooby is well smart looking and the lights do look good. I bet they are expensive though. Do you know if the later grille fits with the earlier bumper?

Didn't realise that there was a later grille ... sorry -

The headlamps were 150 each, new, from Graham Goode - What REALLY cost the money was the HID system I installed to replace the halogen bulbs and the PIAA driving lamps

See my site for more info

Mark

PS _ Cheers for the compliments - Looks better still now I've fitted the FMIC and replaced that lower grille mesh...

Parts from the MY99/00 cars will fit yours.
You can even use your old bumper beam and the parts will fit indervidually (eg. New grill will fit with old lights and bumper)

New prices are:
Bumper £170'ish + painting
Grill £100'ish + painting
Lights £150 each (as stated above)
