Just bought myself a Prodrive spoiler, as fitted to the UK300, and need some advice on fitting it.
It comes in 3 parts, do I need to put some sort of adhesive or padding where the pieces join together and where it attaches to the bootlid? If so, what?
Thanks in advance

Got it second hand from a breakers.
Looks like it's had some sort of foam padding between each part, but it's all been ripped off. All the necessary bolts are there.
Just been to Palmers, and you can't buy the fitting kit on it's own, gonna have to make something up out of foam or rubber.

When I fitted my uk300 spoiler a while back I had the same problem as you. Because it had been removed from a previous car the underside of the spoiler had no rubber backing on.I used 9 or 10mm wide double sided padded tape (The stuff you can buy from car shops that you can use to stick number plates on etc etc) and stuck it to the underside of the spoiler but left the other side with the backing on so that it didn't stick to the bootlid.I trimmed the tape to the shape of the base of the spoiler and fitted it and it's been fine ever since.
Good luck

Cheers Nick, I've actually already fitted the spoiler. I used an old mouse mat, believe it or not, drew round the base to get the shape, perfect. Better than the draught excluder the dealer suggested! White or brown? mmm which would look best with WR Blue!!!!!
Couldn't believe the weight of the thing, no wonder there's more downforce.
