Thumbs up

It will fit, but only if it's from an STI 'bugeye' (Standard & Prodrive MY01-02). Fittings are the same as for a WRX, the only difference is that it is taller.

A MY03 scoop will not fit anything other than a MY03 Impreza (WRX or STi)

I have heard that TSL are planning to do a MY03 "style" scoop to fit onto a bugeye. Give them a ring and see.

Is a bugeyed STI's bonnet scoop bigger that a bugeyed WRX? If so by how much? I assume they should be a straight swap, yes?

Yes, it is the same on plan, so it will fit. It is different due to the depth ie 10mm deeper than the WRX one. It also has four supporting fins rather than three.

I have one on my WRX and it makes it look a lot better

be wary of copies as i have heard these warp due to the heat.

You can buy the original Subaru STi Scoop for around £117.00 from Graham Goodes (plus paint)
