WRX Sunroof

Hi, I'm in the market for a 2003 WRX. I'm looking at one where the dealer installed an aftermarket sunroof. I've heard rumors that sunroofs will compromise the structural integrity of the WRX because of cross-members on the roof. Is this true? If anyone has hard facts about this I'd like to know.

Can't comment on the MY03, but my MY02 WRX has an integral sunroof (power tilt/slide) - I can't imagine that there are two different bodyshells made (one for sunroof, one without). I didn't have a choice about the sunroof tho, and would have preferred not to have it - ho hum
