Exclamation Tinted Windows advice....

I been searching through all the old tinted window posts so know what I want done, just not sure of tint percentage and how much is needed !

Anyone help thats done their car and kept it legal !

I'm just going to get the tint from a seller with good feedback on Ebay

I did a few MK1 Escorts and 2.8i's 30 years ago lol, but none since....

Basically I want the shade that the JDM back windows are, nice and dark and the little quarter panels at the back dark and is it advisable to do the real glass also ? If so what percentage of tint do I buy and any of a rough length ?

Driver and passenger window as dark as they can go legally ! and length !

Just asking if anyone knows exactly before I order....

I see some sellers to pre cut tints, looks interesting also !

Thanks

Going on this.....

Hello,i'm a tinter for over 13 years . The OEM VLT (visible light transparecy) for the rear windows is 35 %.
I recommend you to tint like this : the rear big window with 20% , the rear quarter and door windows with 35%.
I don't know what's legal for the front windows in your country but i recommend to tint with 70% because you have 99 % UV protection (even if it is very light) , you will prevent the interior door cards to shade and you will keep the glass in place in the case of an accident.
For your car you will need this dimensions of window film : for the rear big window 20% - 120 x 50 cm
for the rear quarters and door 35% - 200x50 cm
for the front side windows 70% - 200x50 cm

Found this after a quick Google:

If your vehicle has got tinted vehicle windows, the front windscreen must let at least 75% of light through and the front side windows 70%. There are no rules for tinting the rear windscreen or rear passenger windows.
