Bit of an oversight on my part here I think... I've got an 02 WRX and have just recieved what I believe to be an STi scoop to fit.

Straight away I realised that the STi scoop is quite a lot larger than the hole in the bonnet so isn't going to go on. I can accept my n00bishnes at this point... however am sure I'm seen posts both here and on other forums of people fitting STi scoops and undertrays (as well as version 8 scoops) to bugeye WRXs.

Is there more than one version of the WRX bonnet?

I did read that STi bonnets are aluminium, but due to how light it is and after testing with a magnet, I'm going to say that my WRX bonnet is aluminium as well. Was there a steel bonnet with a different version of the WRX scoop/larger opening?

The more I look at images of STi scoops, the more I think this isn't one.

I bought it from eBay and the auction picture shows 4 legs in the vent, mine has 5 along with 4 fixing points front and rear compared to the WRX's 3.







Thoughts?

Sorry to bump again but I think I've narrowed this down to a Hawkeye WRX scoop.

Do you guys agree before I go back to the seller? Thanks.
