Thumbs down Ref ruined the Final

How disappointing? Game started so promising and would have been terrific if it hadn't been for the Barca supporting Referee.

Should have allowed the goal to stand and yellow carded Lehmann.....:

then there's all the fouls/cards that went in Barcas favour - how many times was Henry hacked. yet when he makes a fair challenge and wins the ball he gets a card

Then there is the fact that Eto was offside on the 1st goal.

Fcukin joke. The team did us proud though to play with only 10 men against such a magnificent side + the ref + the linesman and still only just got beat.

Does make you wonder what would have been if it was a fair referee.

I am - but most neutrals shared the same feelings inc the commentators.

Was such a shame for that to happen to the game. Would have been a terrific game otherwise, regardless of who would have won.

C'mon be honest, its just the way it was, I dont think Barca got the majority of decisions etc. Eto'o goal was offside by about the length of his big toe. Most of the time the goal will be given. I dont see the problem, sure be dissapointed, but be proud of the teams efforts and dont blame others for it. Henry IMO was off the pace most of the night and looked like he was on the booze the night before!!!

Ref admits doubt

However, much as my L6 Ref badge allows, I would have let the goal stand and booked Lehman.
Ref blew too quickly then could not change his decision although Arsenal had been "punished" with a goal he had to disallow.

The offside, I would have let the goal stand, sorry.
I am always pleading the case when id doubt it goes with the attacker so I have to stand by that even though it went against us.

A very unhappy Arsenal fan.

After the game Henry said he was knackered. I am not going to berate a player who has done so much for us season in, season out.

We'll win it next year. If Henry stays ...

It works both ways, the goal arsenal scored came from the most laughably-awarded free kick I have seen in the Champions League this season.

Arsenal would never of come back from a goal down to win the game (11 v 11) and lifted the cup so you still would of lost

Good point mate, its not right

Thierry Henry should stay and play for Arsenal next season, IMO he owes them a champions league cup after missing that chance on 70 minutes

On a positive note, I thought Ashley Cole looked fantastic and very hopeful for a good world cup campaign.

I thought he was a bit rusty defensively, as it was him that played eto onside by tracking guily, (the time when lehmann got sent off) he also missed the 2nd goal by not tracking back to cover belletti (sp?)
