Question Koeman leaving Southampton

I don't understand why he would leave a club he had just finished 6th with and got into Europe to go to a crap team like Everton?! Southampton are a better club.

I can't get my head around it unless he has had a falling out with the hierarchy at Southampton over lack of Summer budgets/player transfers. Even if that's the reason why go to such a useless club?

As my local club and with their training ground just up the road from me I semi follow them as my 2nd club and think it's going to severely hamper them next season with Koeman going.

It's just down to who can pay the highest salary, loyalty is a thing of the pass now, only a select few still have the heart to stay at a club to they retire, that goes for players or managers.SJ.

Are Everton in Europe next season? Did Everton finish higher than 6th in the league? Southampton are a better club

Lol.....You'd know all about relegation battles, if it wasn't for Le Tiss you'd of been relegated and playing non league seasons ago!

Lmao i'm a gooner so never been relegated

FT i'm going on the basis that Southampton have finished higher than Everton for the last 2 seasons and are a club on the rise whilst Everton are in decline. I just don't get why a manager would leave what success he is getting and go to a team with no European football and on the slide and basically far worse off than the club he is at now. They must be offering him stupid money.

Everton have some really good individuals more so than the Scummers and he has probably been offered a nice war chest to add to what they already have.

Lets face it, the best thing about the city of Southampton is Bournemouth is only 30 miles away

It could of been all so different after you rocked up at Dean Court 6 games into the season and needed a flukey 86th penalty to scrape a draw!

Not really we ran away with it.
Ten points clear at the end and a large gold trophy.

Would he have been as successful without Mane, Wanyama and Pelle though?
