Im trying to sort out an informal Gathering in Essex. 30th April is mooted for the date and Brentwood for venue, either at the Halfway House (A127) or the Greyhound (Childerditch).
Anyone up for it?

Have a chat with Pete at Scoobysport if you think necessary. The last event was excellent and well attended but a bit let down by the pub food supply. Pete had warned them of our numbers and when we would arrive and they were more than happy to supply hot food for all....However, on the day they had a complete lack of staff and food took a long time to arrive unless you ordered it early, and everything was based around sarnies and chips.
One small piece of humour happened when one of the local baseball hat and puffa bridgade turned up is his modified cavalier to face a complete car park full of Scoobies, needless to say he left rather sharply

I'll go. Anyone got a ScoobySport or similar d/p + centre section fitted? I've been thinking of taking the plunge for ages but would like to see the difference first. I'll buy lunch for anyone willing to give a demo.

Aww...nothing much....just making a lot of noise in a dis-used industrial estate. I suppose the officer in question was having a very boring day and the sound of my exhaust was just too attractive for him =0

Meet starts at 11:00am at the Greyhound, Childerditch on Sun 30th April
From London, travel up A127 towards Southend. After you pass under M25, look out for Esso garage on left. Do immediate left after garage and head to end of lane. At end turn right and the Greyhound is on your right.
