Fitting a classic downpipe to a Forester 2.5XT my04
Evening all, I picked up a Forester 2.5XT my04 recently. I wasn't going to do anything to it, but I think a little play might be in order.
I've got hold of a 100cel catted one piece downpipe, but it's off a Classic Impreza which I believe is a bit shorter than the Forester SG's two piece DP. Also the lambda sensor is in a different place.
Do I need to get a new boss welded in to put the lambda in the end of the pipe rather than up by the turbo?
Does anyone have a standard centrepipe (53") off a classic that they want to sell?
I'm trying to keep the car sounding as close to standard as possible. I'm only interested in more performance NOT more noise.
