Signed ones too. Anyone that missed out would be much better off bidding on these for the real charity than any others!

5t.

surprised they only went with a 3 day auction - would have thought it would be better to let word spread a bit on the forums - leave it for a week or 10 days.

I have a feeling someone like Jay Leno will get 555, I will be honest and let out that I have not gone into the 1000's.
I would rather try to get one of the others for a bit less than end up paying 2k for 555.
The good news is, look at all this money Mcrae charity will be getting!!!!

an update went up on the Gathering website on Monday 19 Jan
the same info went out to folk that are signed up to our mailing list

we said that we'll be listing the prints on eBay on 25 January, each will go on a 10 day auction

thats 6 days notice, plus another 10 days for the auction.

"most" forums have picked this up.

cheers,
imy

I believe that these prints PLUS all the other goodies SHOULD have been raffled off on the day i would have loved a chance of one of the big auction prizes and would have bought a few tickets.

not all of us (and im sure some will agree/disagree) have the sort of funds available to get our hand on one of these!!

i do think that maybe?? more money would have been raised via a raffle there were 1800 cars on the day most with several passegers £1 per ticket per item say a tenner each, thats a lot of dosh!

steve (who wishes he was minted, but hay ho)

We haven't seen them mentioned on any of the forums we visit - obviously looking in the wrong place!! As above thought Scoobynet or SIDC would have picked it up much sooner?

Also, we thought they were being sold internationally, so as to raise as much as possible? Although a note has been added to the bottom of the listing it will not now be readily visable to the 'rest of the world' as postage is marked UK only!

Still thats good news for those of you bidding on this side of the pond - good luck & may the best man / woman / sniper win!!

This is a previous thread from this forum

https://www.scoobynet.com/scoobynet-...oing-ebay.html

They are available to International bidders but due to having less than 10 feedback we were not able to list them on ebay.com through the same listing so to get round this we listed the reprograph of the autographed Gathering sticker on ebay.com with a link contained within the posting

As for selling /raffling these off on the day. I dont understand how this could happen when the autographs were obtained at Perth a month after the Gathering.

The end is nigh and the fat lady has indeed been booked, the good news is we are now sitting at a confirmed £50000 that will be handed over in 2 weeks time on behalf of Subaru owners worldwide

These final items, if they were to finish just now, are at just over £1000 and i hope Mr Leno, Maxi Jazz or some other uber-rich car nuts start bidding against each other so that we can push on towards an even more imprssive total

Thanks for everyones support

Grant

Take a look at the supporting Clubs and websites. Notice anything missing? Virtually every Club in the UK supported this event EXCEPT Scoobynet. Speaks volumes.

86 watchers now on 555

550 finishes at 2030 and the subsequent prints finishing just after with the autographed copy of the sticker listed on .com being the last to finish
