Default Best Insurance Company

I'm looking to buy another Scooby after years away, as a weekend toy..
Can you recommend any specialists insurance for me?
I used Performance Direct years ago and they were good and decent price. Are there any other specialists you could recommend?
Cheers

I went round the usual brokers before buying my JDM WRX last weekend. Surprisingly, Direct Line turned out to the cheaper than all of them.

i'd be insuring it as a classic car so i think the mainstream insurers would probably be a dead loss

Hi,
Please feel free to give us a try for insurance if you like. If you wanted to PM me some contact details I'd be happy to arrange for one of my quotes team to give you a call back.
Regards,
Dan.

i've filled in the online quote system in the AF website prior to logging in here..Im awaiting an email response.
Performance Direct quoted me £250 on a classic car policy which i thought was pretty good seeing as NCB can't be taken into account.

Sorry we couldn't help but looks like a very competitive quote you received from Performance Direct.
Thanks for trying us though.
Regards,
Dan.

Have used Flux several times in the past: always best for even lightly modded cars.

This time around, they were too expensive for me!

I got the best quote from LV. I'm 42, living respectably, teacher, NCB, clean licence. I pay £340 for a 2006 STi.

If I start to mod the car, I bet Flux will suddenly be best - mainly because people like Tesco won't allow air intake mods etc.
