Default Syvecs Pro + iPad on newage

Hi all, after a bit of advice really as I'm an old fart that likes techy stuff.

Have Syvecs S6 on my Blob as part of the upgrades and have seen that there is a bluetooth module available + Syvecs pro software which looks impressive.

I'm an Android user (Galaxy phone) and never been an Apple fan but the Pro is only on Apple platform at the moment.

My question is are any of you using an iPad and Syvecs Pro on a newage? if so, where did you mount it and is it a full size pad or mini? I'm leaning towards going this route vs a toucan as I already have the additional oil pressure/temp, AIT and fuel pressure sensors wired into the Syvecs but its not yet mapped.

Would be keen to see some installs. Unfortunately I can't justify the £ for a Plex dash so figured adding the BT module and pad may be an alternative.

I am on my new build, iPad mini in the middle mounted where the vents would normally be.

Works well for additional sensor. Use mine for everything including speed etc taken from a wheel sensor on my conversion.

looks interesting mate, my car is a road car with occasional track use so the interior wont be as raw as yours. Would like to see how it looks from the drivers seat tho, vent mount could be the one

I'm looking at this as well, although thinking of getting a double din headunit with apple car play, up to now I have been using my phone mounted on the vent to the right of the steering wheel which isnt ideal

i had it on my old type R, it's not quiet there for android yet as its still under development, but its just a software download from syvecs forum (apart from the dongle for the syvecs unit of coure).

Biggest issue was the default assignments in the software arn't setup correctly so it doesnt work out the box. they may well have sorted it by now though to be fair.

I got mine from the app store rather than the forum, you will need the syvecs software on your laptop and be able to connect to your ecu as you will need to do some basic tweaking in SCal.

SyvecsPro is a good upgrade to the old app, miles ahead really, I am particulary looking forward to being able to use the data logging feature
