So I had a cobra exhaust,caused quite a rumble,working early starts and early finishes when on nights.
My neighbours were not too happy so I went to the trouble and expense to change my lovely sounding Impreza to a revolution exhaust which is SO TAME !
Most of my neighbours are retired and when I'm working nights they love to shout at each other across the street with no consideration for my sleep,and even on a weekend night have loud fkin partys!
I say bollox to being a good considerate neighbour,,,I'm buying a H&S GrpN and when I pull into the street at 6am my ALS is getting some fireworks!!!

as mine wakes the whole estate up at 7am on a Sunday morning

 

I did the same, nice exhaust bit raspy but as you said, quiet.

Do miss the noise and drama of my old one ( pretty much straight through)

I'm considering a Tomei for my hatch, but am put off by reviews of welds going, and the 1 year warranty.. ... Obviously for the weight saving, not the noise😀

 

Tomei Titanium is very loud,it was too loud for me and I only have one good ear.

 

It's all well and good UNTIL the old bill and FOSA are waiting down the road one morning

I try my best to be quiet. Barely taken my Impreza out after 9pm. One night i did, dove in drive way as quiet as I could. Get out of car, and see a woman in my drive way screaming about do I know what time it is. I nearly had heart failure

 

i brought my car back to my house for the first time in over a year. the next day at work one of my colleagues who lives 4 doors down came up to me and said - i hear the rally car is back
