Earth wire snapped...

Earth wire snapped...

Does anybody know where this earth should go to? Try to fix one thng and another 5 problems appear

It goes to one of the gearbox casing bolts.

Does it do anything important? I am going to put in a new one but it appears to have been disconnected for quite some time.

Imprezas suffer from bad earth. Put a new one on. More is better with these cars.

I am definitely going to replace it, might be a good time to replace them all as I have to go and get some new cabling.

Replaced it with something slightly more substantial. Glad I did because the earth point in the bulkhead had been painted black... Great for an earthing point.
