Very true busta I know exactly what you mean and respect your opinion

I've always wanted a set for the last 8 years and these came up good price and I also really wanted to come away from the white Alloys so sold them then got these redone in a DIFFRENT colour to the norm really happy with how it's turned out

As long as you like, other people's opinions don't mean ****.
You build a car to your own happiness, not to impress others imo.
I just say how I see

Thanks they are much better than the Bridgestone's I had on previously

no more snaking when launching flat out it sticks much better than before and I had a twitchy pull when the roads had even abit of camber on the other tyres which has totally gone now aswell and it comes out of the corners much more stable now

It does sit lower just come off the ramp at time of the pics boss as the s203/type ra-r pink adjustable suspension that's on the car sits perfectly when settled

Totally agree with the common as muck opinion if you can't beat them join them
I had the same common as muck problem with the team dynamics I had on before totally fell out of love with them when seen on a Clio and then a Renault
Atleast these are mostly known to be common on subarus and also didn't cost me a single penny so happy days

Update :

All show and no go is an understatement
Sick of dodging potholes feeling every bump on the road enjoyment has gone totally
Low profile budget tyres don’t help neither not for me...

Result - SOLD awaiting pickup then back to 17” 235 45 17 Dunlop sp tyres which were and are the best set up for my car

Fair play to you mate, they looked good but a harsh ride is so annoying.
Any suggestions for a 17x8 for a pre widetrack sti ?
I’m thinking about going from 18 to 17 myself
Again

This looks great! Do you have a side-on picture with these wheels?

(Sorry for the off topic!)

Nice one

In my opinion the genuine sti 17” 7.5j are best for non widetrack unless you can source some genuine prodrive flowforming 18’s which would be my option with good tyres on

Only joking bruv

I’ve Hit the nail on the head this time got it exactly how I want it to look and drive

The tyres are from the brand new enkei’s I bought at £127 ilast year then sold the wheels on

Then paid £150 for the bbs’s posted

can’t moan and I’ll be hard pushed to find a better combo for looks and drivability imo
