If you take a small flat head precision screwdriver, or in the past without one I have used the wifes hairpins flattened and poke it down the pin it should flatten the tab on the pin and let you pull the contact and wire out
Like these guys do

There are small plastic tabs on some of the plugs that lock the pins in and they need to be raised slightly then just pull on the wire/pin you want to remove.
I've raised the locking tab but no joy. Am I right in thinking the larger holes are the ones I need to prod at?
Ive done a few on my ecu plugs mate for extra sensors and i didnt need to prod anything, i just lifted the tabs and give a sharp tug and they released.
Hmm not sure they will release like that on mine. That link above does show similar plugs but I can't see the plastic tabs it talks about releasing in the holes. Pain in the behind.
