I clean my boost solenoid valve and don't know how to plug back the pipes.My car is Impreza V4 STI with ej20K engine , vf28 turbo and 75 ecu.
I put the top pipe (restrictor pill it is inside) to the turbo outlet ; the middle one to the turbo actuator and the bottom to the air intake. Now i can read on boost gauge 1.2 bar. Before cleaning 0.85 bar. I did something wrong? Maybe i put the one pipe wrong.please help. This is my boost solenoid

 

 

My restrictor pill it is in the top line, i didn't touch it.The pill wont't fit in the bottom pipe because the bottom pipe is larger than the top one.

 

Other opinion ?

 

It should be in the top hose on an MY98 V4 STi.

so they were installed incorrectly and the boost was only 0.85 bar. Now with this setup i can see max 1.2 bar to my boost gauge.

 

Hi all,today i remove the restrictor pill and now the boost is 1 bar. Should i let it like this? I am affraid that 1.2 bar (with restrictor pill in the top hose) will damage my engine
