Picked this up on Saturday. First Impreza and I love it. VF35 turbo, STi intercooler, injectors and suspension, new uppipe and sports cat downpipe, Miltek centre and rear exhaust, Whiteline front and rear ARBs, front and rear strut braces, polybushed all round, front and rear solid droplinks, STi rack and wishbones and various other bits I've probably missed. Dyno print out of 327bhp and 312lbft. Just clocked over to 110k but everything feels good and engine still pulls well. Not overly loud too which is good since I leave for work at 5:30am and I don't want earache off the neighbours.

That's a great spec wagon and a good colour too.

Cheers. For the money I paid, I don't think I could have found anything much better to be honest. I'm loving it so far and even the missus kinda likes it, so that's a win! Few things to do to it, but nothing engine/handling wise for now. Sound system needs sorting and I might get the steering wheel retrimmed, but other than that I'm perfectly happy with it.

New wheels fitted over the weekend. Love the difference they've made to the look.

Is it still on standard WRX brakes? That's the sort of extra power and handling mods I'm aiming for in the long run.

Standard callipers, drilled and grooved discs atm, that's what I got it with. Looking to get the Godspeed G hook discs and some better callipers soon though, not a fan of drilled discs.

This size and ET of rims fit into standard fenders without any rubbing? Do you have standard WRX suspension?

If it's any help, mine are 8Jx18, et45 with 225/40/18 tyres. I get no rubbing at all. STi suspension, so not sure if that's much lower but the extra stiffness may help with stopping rubbing.

Thanks, I've spent plenty time machine polishing it while its been on SORN! No. 232 - been posted on here a few years ago by the last owner.

Fairly standard compared to yours: VF35, ported headers, 3" exhaust with a sports cat downpipe, uprated fuel pump and radiator etc. Runs an Alcatek mapped by Andy F with separate 99/95 RON maps.

I must say I adore it...for me as a wagon lover it is THE Impreza!
