Yep that Costa could turn out to be a great player, still has a long way to go to be better than Robben and Ribery in my view and nowhere near Ronaldo but he looks to have a lot of developing to come.

Yep although annoyed at the goal conceded being that lax after how we defended against Bayern and it was the Ox losing the ball in front of the Everton goal that lead to it. They can't afford to be that lazy.

The blocked shot was unfortunate
I have a pic of the guy from across the stadium - will post a bit later
Mean I know but the biggest cheer came when the tannoy announced the cancellation of the 8.pm Euston to Liverpool ttrain

Yes he is a bit of a conundrum, looks awkward on the pitch - has a very weird running style (upright)
But is very effective, and crucial for a striker - knows where the goal is
And what you often don't appreciate on the TV is just how big he is
In fact that goes for quite a lot of modern players - they are enormous - even Ozil is huge

For once I didn't think it was fixed, they usually make sure all the big boys are separated, not this year, gives the smaller teams a shot at a semi, apart from the gooners of course

I think to win a tournament like the CL ultimately you have got to beat the best
yes we could get Gent, then Zenit etc
and if we lose, no disgrace going out to Barca (we get to see arguably the 3 or 4 bets players in the world at the Emirates )
then we can concentrate on closing out this Premiership

I expected to get walloped last night and the 2 goals we did concede were very very poor so it was a lot better than I expected. We should have scored at least 2 ourselves and that was the difference, we don't have any World class strikers. Koscielny was superb all night but there was only so much he could do against that forward 3. But yes I don't fancy our chances much at the Nou Camp.

Quote from Wenger on Sky Sports
err we've been missing something in the final 3rd since Henry and Bergkamp left and you've done **** all about it
"I felt in the final third at the moment we are missing something."

we played some good counter attacking football - just seemed lose a bit of focus in the last mins

Barca were trying to play like Arsenal by walking it in, hence only 2-0, they never got out of 2nd gear and made Arsenal look ordinary imo.
The real upset could be tonight

I wish I could interview him. I'd put all the points to him that he wouldn't like and wouldn't answer to show him up such as having £200m in the bank and the utter b0ll0cks he spouts every transfer window saying the players just aren't available and then point to all the players other clubs have bought. I said several years ago it was time for him to go when he basically let the squad slide into mediocrity and not replace the World class players we once had and i'm pleased finally some of the crowd have started calling for the same. I hope the unrest grows.
As the press commented at the weekend he has not been held accountable for the lack of success since 2004 and that just shows the board need to go as well including getting rid of Kroenke. Usmanov and Dein are the ones to revive the club and I can only hang on to the hope that one day that might just happen. All the time Wenger and the current board remain we will remain mediocre and continue battling for 3rd/4th place in the premiership at best. (I couldn't give a flying **** about the FA Cup the only thing that matters is the Premiership and the Champions League!)

wow, what a game, in beautiful sunshine - north London at its best
the tension was immense - and cheering 9 goals was fantastic (4 of ours and 5 of Newcastle's)
great stuff
Tottensham were always going to choke
and Arteta scoring with the last kick of the game - brilliant
my little man, 30 mins before kick off
